Our guest speaker
Ursula Sauvé, President of the Rainbow Routes Association Board of Directors, member of the
Cycling Grannies, and passionate cyclist.
Cycling has played different roles in the various stages of Ursula's life. Growing up in
Switzerland, where cycling is part of everyday life, she immigrated to Canada in 1970. Over
the years, she has used road and mountain bikes for fun, fitness, leisure and transportation.
She has used a bike to commute to school, for family activities while raising a young family,
for mental health and stress relief, for endurance testing, for friendship and for sightseeing
and travel. Come and hear how your bike can be a friend for life.
